February vs. October demo
For Steam Next Fest (October 19–26, 2026) the demo was updated to match the first 25 days of the final game:
- Starter horses have lower stats, so you won't progress as far as in the February demo.
- New features: walking your horse (with or without foals), Caprilli tests, new trail ride environments, desensitization training, face markings and appaloosa patterns.
- October demo saves work in the full game. February demo saves do not.
Playing the old February demo
The February demo is on a separate Steam branch: right-click the demo in your library → Properties → Game Versions and Betas → select February Demo.
